I have had the privilege to work with Chanelle Burt for the past 14 years.  To say she is a servant leader is an understatement.  She has a unique way of caring for you and helping you achieve more than you ever thought possible.  Personally, Chanelle has helped me come out of my shell, giving me strength to enlarge my vision and the confidence to go after what I never thought was possible. 

Annually, the W.I.N committee host a Women’s Empowerment Brunch where we highlight entrepreneurial women that are making great accomplishments in their respective businesses and would share how they achieved success. We also use this time to uplift and empower other women to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.

Last year, we had the honor of Mrs. Chanelle Burt accepting our invitation to be part of our panel of women. Mrs. Burt has always been an advocate of “Women Winning”, hence the motto of her W3 podcast. Mrs. Burt has helped countless number of women achieve success, so it was a blessing to have her speak and offer her services to anyone that was ready to achieve success in becoming a business owner. Mrs. Burt also offered to showcase a few of the women at the event, who has already achieved success in their business, on her podcast by helping them gain more exposure on her social media platform.

Working with THEE Chanelle Burt is something I’ll take with me wherever I go. I learned so much about business, yes, but I learned so much as a woman and mother. I met her at 18 turning 19 and now I’m turning 30. I learned to go after my dreams & not be scared of the no’s. When I was homeless & pregnant at 23, people told me to let go of my dreams and focus on becoming a mother but CHANELLE, oh she pushed me. There was no quitting. She believed in me more than I believed in myself. So , now at 29, I’ve been able to build the business of my dreams in mental health, hosted over 60 events between MD, NC , and virtually. I get paid to perform poetry which was another dream. I get to speak and tell my story. Just did my first ever news segment as we prepare for an upcoming event.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” She gave me this on a plaque that I have on my desk but that is what she taught me & so many others but that is because that is who she is ! A fighter, a problem solver, resilient, a mother , a wife, she’s everything but she’s a point of reference when you think of a woman winning. Someone who didn’t let the pressures of life break her but fuel her !  Such an honor to learn from Mrs. Burt. Truly a walking testimony of Gods love, grace, and faithfulness.
